Sagittarius & the Scorpio Boss

Expansion

Ah, you can be quite the charmer—vivacious, outspoken and funny. But during your inter-view, Scorpio saw through your charm and recognized something you two have in com-mon. You're both in pursuit of the truth.

You're constantly on the lookout for the big picture, and Scorpio is searching for the absolute bottom line. Your approaches to this pursuit differ, but eventually get you to the same place.

So how does all this work out on a daily basis? Let's take a closer look.

Using Your Strengths

Thanks to Jupiter, the planet that rules your sign, your talents are diverse and rarely con-fined to just one area or interest. One of the most famous Sadges, Nostradamus, wasn't just a seer/prophet. He was also a physician and an astrologer with knowledge of alchemy and magic. No matter what you take on or what you tackle, your various creative talents come into play. Its all part of the way you sift through information. Even when you can't

connect the dots that lead to the big picture you're seeking, you're capable of grasping the tangents.
Scorpio understands this about you, and if he doesn't, it won't take him long to figure it out. He'll tap your diverse talents and make sure your responsibilities are flexible and expansive enough so you don't get bored.
Stand Up for What You Believe
You never have a problem standing up for what you believe. In fact, some Sagittarians do this so frequently they can be downright ob-noxious about it. The trick for you is to choose your battles carefully—like when a principle is involved. With your work, there are definite situations and issues that will elicit an immediate response from you.

  • The stifling of your creative freedom
  • Having to punch a clock
  • A boss who throws his weight around just because he can
  • An unappreciative boss

In any of these situations, you probably won't hold back in your objections. They'll be immediate and blunt.

Set Goals

Sadges are sometimes depicted as individuals who are too busy traveling and doing stuff to set goals. But what these descriptions don't say is that you're capable of setting goals regard-less of where you are or what you're doing. You don't necessarily need a list or a computer file. Your goals are tucked away in one compartment of your busy mind, and you check them when you need to. Typically, your work goals involve some larger search or quest. Perhaps you’re in law school and are interning at the law firm where Scorpio is your boss. In your free time, you’re also writing a legal thriller. So perhaps one of your daily goals is to combine research for your boss that expands your knowledge of a particular area in your novel.
